And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard,
neither shalt thou gather every grape
of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the
poor and stranger:
I am the LORD your God.
.Leviticus 19:10

In 2004 another orphanage was started in the state of Gujarat, in a place called Ukai, which currently holds 30 children.  Each of these 88 children need monthly support totaling around $40 per child.   Currently, a new structure is in construction in Jagadelpur that will house 100 orphan boys and girls, with the possibility of facilities for a school and medical clinic for them.   Please pray for this ministry, and if possible, financially support it.  Your help is greatly appreciated.

Orphanage

In the year 2000, with the help of Pastor Mathew Edavattel and Christian Jubilee Center Church in Louisiana, Maranatha Jubilee Children's Home was started.  A very difficult ministry was started with 12 children, which grew to 58 in 2005.  In 2004 another orphanage was started in the state of Gujarat, in a place called Ukai, which currently holds 30 children.  For the first time we would come across a world filled with crimes such as child abuse and prostitution.  We would come face-to-face with the reality of starvation and real people rather than seeing another statistic about it.  This was the dark world where real children were abandoned to the elements by their families because of the lack of resources for survival of the large family units.  We saw first hand the lack of hospital and medical care in this area.  God really wanted us to come out of our comfort zones and see the reality of the plight of India's street children, and thus we started the Maranatha Jubilee Children's Home.  Problems with supply, housing, and medical care abound, yet this is a ministerial project that must continue because of the urgency of the need for such an outreach in these areas.  Each of these 88 children need monthly support totaling around $40 per child.   Currently, a new structure is in construction in Jagadelpur that will house 100 orphan boys and girls, with the possibility of facilities for a school and medical clinic for them.   >>>>

This is not an easy outreach.  Large amounts of financial help are needed to keep it running every month, not to mention the additional costs of constructing the new facility and the rising number of street children who are brought to the Orphanages every month. We ask for your prayers and support.  More than anything, your support is an investment into the future of India.  A future where people will rise under the name of Jesus Christ and bring about great change and revival.
