"thou shalt not glean thy vineyard,
neither shalt thou gather every grape
of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the
poor and stranger:
I am the LORD your God."

Reaching Out the Unreached
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and
the Son and of the Holy Spirit". (Matthew. 28:19)
Going to India was something I told myself I would never do since I had last went in 1999.  Now in the end of December 2006, I find myself again back on the "all lane" roads of India.  Traveling through Raipur , I remember at first being overwhelmed with the vast amount of people, animals, foods, and shops.  But then a heaviness seemed to enter my heart.  I looked again and noticed that these people were all beautiful.  I started to realize that all of them were God's children and yet many of them were lost. Lost from the saving knowledge of Christ and his love.  I soon realized that this burden wasn't even a drop of the oceans of sadness that God had for all of these people.  Who would go out and share the Gospel?  Who?
God allowed us to see that the work wasn't over in Raipur.  We stopped at Pastor James Ram church and got to see the bible college that was being built .  Sharing the Gospel in Raipur was both dangerous and risky, yet they pressed on. I still felt a burden in my heart for all the  people I saw on the road.  Then I saw, written on the gate to the church " Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you . Psalms 50:15".  I knew then that God needed people to call upon Him to move, to come down and to take over.  Only then would we see change and revival.
After stopping at Pastor James Ram's church for lunch, we continued to go to Jagadalpur where we  finally reached our destination: the Maranatha Jubilee Home.  What a blessing that was.  To see young boys and girls full of love for each other and for complete strangers such as us. To sing with them, dance with them, laugh with them, pray with them, and cry with them.  To see Christ through a girl half my age.  To see my own mask and insecurities wash away due to these true ambassadors and disciples of Christ.  To be able to call each of them my brother and sister.
Brothers and sisters, God is working and moving in ways that we cannot begin to imagine.  For such a time as this we are called to step up and cry out to Him. Let Him use you for his purpose.  Christ was telling the truth that when you deny yourself and pick up the cross and follow him, then and only then will you find yourself.  What's holding you back?  Go.
